The first album I remember purchasing, with absolute clarity is Michael Jackson’s “Bad” album. I had never heard anything like it….it was, and still is to me, a perfect album. This was quickly followed with albums by artists ranging from such bands as Aerosmith and Whitesnake, to KLF and New Order..
I was lucky enough to see the early days of MTV, and the excitement that came from a never ending stream of new tv channels dedicated to playing music 24 hors a day. I have also been fortunate enough to see the medium of music change through vinyl, to CD, to MP3, and the evolution of how we consume music.

Manchester born and bred, I consider Manchester and the surrounding landscape to have formed both my musical tastes, but also how I draw upon my creative inspiration. From Icons such as Morrissey and Ian Brown, a gritty, honest songwriting style is synonymous with the town, and it is what I feel most drawn to when writing and composing my own work. Added to this, the city historically being pioneers on multiple musical fronts across the decades, ensures there is always an audience willing to seek out new local artists.
The facilities I am currently fortunate enough to have the use of, comprise of some of the latest technology and equipment you would expect to find in a professional grade recording studio.
